A GMAT score is very important for admission to top B-schools. It facilitates admission to over 7000 management programs worldwide, but not all colleges consider GMAT exam score. Usually, admission to MBA without GMAT is available for executive MBA programmes. But these schools give high weightage to work experience of the candidate.

Most of the business schools offering MBA without GMAT score require aspirants to have the following:-

Work experience: Work experience is the first thing that B-schools consider whether it is an MBA without GMAT or with it. An experience of at least 2-5 years is required for MBA. If you want to try for an executive MBA at least 8-10 years of experience is required.

CV: A CV with the type of work done and other professional details. 

Recommendation letter: At least 2-3 reference letters from previous employers. Letter of recommendation is very important for business schools since it gives a peek into aspirant’s potential.

HEC Paris Executive MBA:

It is one of the best executive programs in the world. The HEC Paris offers an 18-month program in Paris, Shanghai, Beijing and Doha. It does not accept the GMAT exam score. HEC has its own aptitude test. The average years of experience is9 years.

NYU Stern Executive MBA: 

The MBA program at New York University Stern Executive is a great option for candidates without a GMAT exam score. It is a 22-month long program. Stern has a very strong network of alumni. It takes in students with at least 14 years of work experience. 

The Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA Program:

The Kellogg’s executive MBA program is a joint degree by Hong Kong University and the Kellogg School. It is one of the top 10 MBA programs in the world. It offers MBA without GMAT exam. 

Tsinghua-INSEAD Dual Degree Executive MBA (TIEMBA):

The Tsinghua-INSEAD Dual Degree Executive MBA (TIEMBA) is a collaboration between the top two business schools in the world. The Tsinghua university school of Economics & Management and INSEAD jointly give this degree. They give a dual degree after 18 weeks, of course. 

UCLA – NUS Executive MBA

UCLA – NUS Executive MBA is also a joint MBA program. You get two MBA degrees from UCLA and NUS. Candidates with 12-19 years of experience are required. So students can apply for an MBA without GMAT.

Duke Fuqua Executive MBA

A fifteen-month duration program, it has five terms. MBA without GMAT can be done from this university, but an average work experience of 15 years is required. 

MIT Executive MBA

The 20-month long management program. The MIT Sloan School is a great place to study MBA without GMAT.

Oxford Executive MBA

The program of EMBA is a 21-month long program. Candidates with more than 10 years of experience are considered for those who want to apply for an MBA without GMAT. With GMAT exam score, lesser experience is acceptable. 

Johnson Cornell University

The 22-month long program at John’s Cornell University. The minimum years of experience is7 years, but the average is 12 years. It accepts students without GMAT.

Executive MBA and MBA in Financial Management at Lubin School at Pace University

For an executive MBA program, candidates don’t require GMAT exams at Pace University. The MBA program (Financial Management) is made for graduates who have a high-Grade Point Average from an AACSB-accredited U.S. business school. If students have a 3.50 GPA or higher for their bachelor’s degree, they don’t need to give the GMAT exam.
