What is certain about aviation, it attracts daring characters, every year. Spartan College has a guide to earning your l pilot’s wings, along with career progression and options. So, here is how to become a pilot.

Step One – Know the FAA

In the industry of aviation in the US, everything is regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), which is part of the Department of Transportation. The FAA is the department that is over all aspects of the operation of civilian airspace and certifications on flight instructors, pilots as well as aviation maintenance technicians. During pilot training, you need to prepare for several written, oral as well as practical tests that are all administered by the FAA in order to learn your licenses.

So, if you are good about having a pilot’s career, it is suggested to be a good idea to become aware of the FAA prior to your first flight school course. Visit this organization to read news, information, training manuals or anything related to this aviation industry.

Step Two – Medical Exam and Student Pilot Certification

Pilots especially those who want to fly passenger aircraft, need to be in the best physical condition. The FFA wants all pilots, including students, to receive a good medical exam from an Aviation Medical Examiner (AME). These are usually private physicians who have the training as well as authorization from the FAA. There is a database on the FAA website that has listings of AME. You initially want the 3rd Class Medical Certificate that is required for student pilots, private pilots and pilots who fly recreationally. This AME will check your:
